Lot 76133. POLAND. Zamosc. 2 Zloty, 1813. Friedrich August I. PCGS VF-35.KM-5. A crudely made issue with the typical imperfections for the type, but with all important details intact and pleasantly toned a dark gray.This issue was minted from Church silverware on the order of General Maurycy Hauke, the commander of the Polish garrison in Zamosc. These were in circulation for just one day before the city surrendered to the Russian army.
