Very scarce in this grade, the offering preserving well-outlined details set within a visual frame of gleaming traces of mint luster. A rich red-gold tone adds a sense of originality to this charming example. For comparison, we note that a similar piece from the Rudman Collection of Mexican Coins brought a hammer price of $7,500 in 2015 (Heritage Auction #3041, Lot 31085).
