Rarely do we find ourselves the opportunity to handle two decidedly Mint State representatives of this seldom-seen series in a single year, let alone the same sale, here bestowed a most pleasing lemon-gold flash across the skillfully crafted and fully struck-up devices. Practically Prooflike as a result of a laudably bold embossment, and likely precluded from such a designation due to an abundance of wisps characteristic of these expansive gold issues. While a scratch is noted to the obverse behind Anne's swept hair, this does little to hind the overall and advanced aesthetic caliber of this second-finest for the date representative.
